Better Evidence, Better Government

Join us on 27 October for the next in our series of Better Evidence, Better Government events, hosted by the Evidence Quarter (EQ) and the Policy Institute at King’s College London.

This is a unique opportunity to join Professor David Halpern, Chief Executive of the Behavioural Insights Team as he reflects on his time as the What Works National Advisor. He will be in conversation with Ravi Gurumurthy, current Chief Executive of Nesta, who brings a wealth of experience from his time at the International Rescue Committee and in a number of senior government roles. David and Ravi will be reflecting on the highlights of David’s time in government, and what the future might look like for evidence in policy making.

The conversation will start at 6pm (UK) in person in the Katherine Johnson Event Space at the EQ, or online via Zoom, with an opportunity to hear their reflections and ask questions from the floor. Wine and soft drinks will be available afterwards from 7-8pm (UK).

This is part of our Better Evidence Better Government series which brings together well-known speakers from within government, academia and evidence-led organisations to raise the profile of the role of evidence in the policymaking process.
