We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming meet-up of the OECD’s Community of Practice on Behavioural Insights (i-CoP BI), featuring a special guest speaker, Professor Olivier Sibony.
Please join us at 16:00 (CEST) to explore his influential work at the intersection of AI and behavioural science, and to delve into insights from his thought-provoking book, “Noise: A Flaw in Human Judgment”, co-authored with Daniel Kahneman and Cass R. Sunstein, which has been featured on multiple international bestseller lists, including the New York Times.
During this session, Professor Sibony will elaborate on his work on “Noise”, focusing on biases and noise in AI. Possible discussion topics will include:
- Is AI capable of reducing noise in decision-making, or does it potentially amplify existing biases?
- Can artificial intelligence compensate for inherent flaws in human judgment?
- How do we address and mitigate biases and noise in AI systems?
- What role does human oversight play in addressing noise in AI?
As usual, the presentation will be followed by an informal Q&A discussion, allowing for an exchange of ideas and insights. We eagerly anticipate the valuable conversations that will emerge from exploring these themes and the opportunities they present for the future.
If you are attending in person: Please arrive 20-30 minutes early (by 15:30 CEST) to clear OECD security.
