General Information
Project description
Determining residents' current preferences for covid-19 vaccination and developing strategies based on the use of behavioural interventions.
Analysis Plan
Hypothesis
With the introduction of a lottery into the vaccination process, the motivation of citizens to get vaccinated will decrease.
How hypothesis will be tested
The Slovak Republic has introduced a lottery as a form of motivation for citizens to participate in vaccination. However, a survey on donor preferences revealed that the motivation of citizens will decrease with the introduction of the lottery. In the survey, we focused on the most common individual barriers and motivations to vaccination. The aim of the survey is to help improve the measures put in place because of the Covid19 pandemic, which we presented to a consortium of experts on 4.11.2021.
Dependent variables
4 categories of actors and separate questions were prepared for each category on their motivations and barriers.
Identified actors: 1. Vaccinated, 2. Waiting for vaccination, 3. Undecided, 4. Refusing vaccination
Analyses

It was shared via the Facebook pages of the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Health analyses, self-governing regions, and the Slovak Patient. The collection ran from 14.9. to 17.10.2021. We received 95% of these respondents via the website of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic.
