Innovative response

The service is intended for all citizens who have been cured of the COVID-19 virus and who can donate their blood plasma, so as to help in the treatment of newly infected patients.

Specific issues addressed and anticipated impact

There are currently about 800 potential donors in the database. The process of digitalizing the procedure for administering COVID-19 plasma and digitizing the COVID-19 plasma bank is ongoing, which is very significant in the current pandemic as well as a possible pandemic in the fall or winter.
