Morocco Digital Response to closed schools : for studying from home

Innovative response

The Ministry of National Education are replacing the education that was to be done in schools and universities with e-learning or distance learning. Today, schools are able to offer distance education through the portal Tilmidetice.ma for national education and another portal for higher education
the portal "tilmid tice" offer e-learning and allow students to study at home, in this portal all levels are covered, from the first primary year to the terminal. it has also Links from all partners as "Taalim tice". The "taalim.ma" portal was also launched to allow each teacher to create his virtual class through the "Microsoft teams"

Specific issues addressed and anticipated impact

While Morocco’s school buildings are closed, one million students have already accessed the Ministry’s online learning platform "tilmid tice", also lessons broadcast nationally on TV, opening the door to continued learning for millions more of Moroccan youth from families who have no computers, no smartphones, no internet connection. The courses are broadcast on the fourth channel
