The Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government (BETA) is proud to be hosting BI Connect, a free online behavioural insights conference in early December 2022.

BI Connect 2022 will involve three online sessions: BI Connect 2022 Sessions, dark patterns and greenwashing – Exposing and addressing deceptive corporate tactics

The sessions will be live streamed using YouTube Live and participants will be able to submit questions using Sli.do. Viewing instructions for each session will be sent to registered participants prior to the event.

We apply our mix of specialist expertise and work collaboratively with partner agencies to: Conduct research and provide advice on how people interact with programs and policy issues; design and test evidence-based solutions to complex policy problems; evaluate and measure the impact of programs and program changes; uplift APS capability to apply evidence from the behavioural and social sciences to public policy.
