Capacity management traffic light sign

Innovative response

TraffikFlo is a simple to install, easy to use, low cost traffic light to help locations manage capacity limits. We have a retail, restaurant and Caution version that is being used in locations across North America. The sign can be set up anywhere, powered by a power cable or battery pack and is paired using an app or web browser to control the lights.

It has been a huge success however we are struggling to reach our target audience.

When consumers find out about TraffikFlo we have had some exceptional positive reviews. We are currently running our sign at gas stations, retail stores, COVID testing facilities, hospitals, pharmacies, construction sites and government-controlled locations across North America.

Green lets customers know it is safe to enter a location, red asks them to wait.

Specific issues addressed and anticipated impact

Social distancing and capacity control at retail stores and any other location where traffic management is needed while keeping staff at a safe distance from potentially infected people.

Potential issues

We have been running in the market for a few months with very little negative feedback on the design and use. We also have a FOB version which would need additional investment in manufacturing on a large scale.
