Register for the Innovation Declaration webinar
OPSI drafted the OECD Declaration on Public Sector Innovation to help governments to develop more robust and diverse innovation strategies so that they can keep pace with rapid change and tackle a variety challenges, now and into the future.
It is currently open for public consultation until the 22 February 2019.
The public consultation process is a chance for everyone to look at the Declaration’s high-level principles and actions to see if they resonate. It is an opportunity to give direct feedback and to shape or re-work the document so that it is ultimately something that is both meaningful and practical to government as they develop, or refine, their innovation strategies.
We will host a webinar on 13 February 2019 at 15h (GMT+1) to explain the Declaration, the consultation process, the kind of feedback we are looking for and the next steps for the document.
The webinar will cover:
- Countries’ experiences with innovation declarations (how Canada and France created theirs and what their utility has been in fostering innovation)
- The concepts underpinning the OPSI Innovation Declaration
- Practical advice on the public consultation process (what kind of feedback we are looking for and how we will use it)
- The next steps for the Declaration
