Innovative response

The statistical information of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMSGPK) to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2) are as Open Government Data (OGD) under the open Creative Commons (CC) license available ( CC-BY-4.0 ). The data can be used by the general public under the condition of naming (ie naming the source BMSGPK) in machine-readable format together with the associated metadata. This corresponds to the requirements of the Information Reuse Law (IWG) and the Open Data and Public Sector Information (PSI) Directive 2019/1024 of the EU . Health information on COVID-19 must also be published in accordance with the Environmental Information Act (see Sections 2 and 9 UIG).
