ideas42 A/B Testing

An A/B test measures and compares the effectiveness of different versions of a program feature, service, or communication. This interactive tool helps users prepare for A/B tests, create random assignments of users to A or B, and helps users analyse which was more successful. The publishers suggest that this approach can be used by governments to optimize outreach materials, communications and engagement, program features, and processes (e.g., applications, payments).

One review for "ideas42 A/B Testing"

  1. Joseph Allouche says:

This toolkit is a unique method for testing public policies. An A/B test measures and compares the effectiveness of different versions of a program feature, service, or communication.
The goal is to compare two policies. In practical terms, this is done in three steps.
It is quite simple to use since everything is explained with great pedagogy. In addition to the video that presents all the process, other videos develop with concrete examples the different phases of the process.

Even if I think this tool is very interesting, it is rare that only two possibilities are relevant for a public decision. There are often many more. So I think that this program will be more useful for making the best decisions regarding public policies at the local level than at the national level.
