Innovative response

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), in collaboration with the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB), launched exceptional funding to support the reorientation of R&D teams in the development of initiatives that meet the immediate needs of the National Health Service (SNS) to fight COVID-19 (e.g, new prevention tools, therapeutic developments, diagnostic methods, actions to promote a resilient society, especially in the older population and in higher risk groups).
The total funding is €1,5 million, with a maximum of €30 000 per project.
