The innovation was developed to help Caruaru address violence by using data to identify the most vulnerable groups. The Violence Prevention Observatory brings together information from various public services to better understand the root causes of violence and to design effective solutions. By integrating data from areas such as education, health, and public safety, the project offers an innovative approach that enables more preventive and better-coordinated actions to protect citizens at risk.
The "Programa Justiça Cidadã" in Brazil's Roraima state, led by the State Court of Justice, extends legal services to remote regions, including indigenous and riverside communities, addressing the needs of Venezuelan migrants. Wildfires is one of the main causes of blackouts in Brazil. To monitor the thousands of Brazilian Transmission Lines (TLs), ANEEL created the GGT System, which consists of a tool that uses Artificial Intelligence and satellite images processing to preventively inspect the maintenance of TLs against wildfires. With the GGT System, there was a 89% reduction in shutdowns caused by wildfires, representing a great improvement in the reliability of the electricity offered to the Brazilian population.
Izzistrit is an urban data indexing platform created to improve the travelling experience of people with disabilities or reduced mobility in cities.
